Some tracks are planned—"Witchcraft" just happened. Conceived during a trip to Corsica, the single found its theme midway through the production process: While working on the break, Metaphix had the idea of ​​how powerful magical spells would be at that precise moment. A spontaneous thought became the identity of the entire track. From that moment on, "Witchcraft" transformed into a sonic witchcraft: Mystical textures, incantatory spells, and children's laughter intertwine to create an atmosphere that oscillates between fascination and a pleasant shiver—as if witnessing a nighttime ritual that one doesn't quite understand but doesn't want to leave. The whole thing is underpinned by the driving night-psy foundation that characterizes Metaphix: dark, hypnotic, and uncompromisingly dancefloor-oriented. The occult soundscape is never an end in itself—it draws the listener deeper and deeper into the track's spell. Released on July 16, 2024, «Witchcraft» is proof that the strongest ideas often arise unplanned — somewhere between an island in the Mediterranean and a break that called for magic.
